The Galactic Collective has received multiple complaints regarding perceived inconsistencies in legislative rulings.

We respectfully disagree.

The Collective's decisions are entirely consistent with established precedent, specifically, the precedents that support each individual ruling.

That these precedents occasionally contradict one another is not evidence of inconsistency, but rather of our consistent commitment to honouring all precedents equally, including precedents that are mutually exclusive.

The Galactic Collective maintains a consistent commitment to inconsistency, while reserving the right to be inconsistently consistent when precedent does or does not demand it.
